After 6 seasons, Annalize Keating (Viola Davis), Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee), Oliver Hampton (Conrad Ricamora), Laurel Castillo (Karla Souza), Michaela Pratt (Aja Naomi King), Frank Delino (Charlie Weber), Bonnie Winterbottom ( Liza Weil) and the others said goodbye. What end for How to Get Away with Murder ?
One thing is certain: while the series was unpredictable and adept at improbable cliffhangers throughout the 6 seasons, the end was no exception to the rule. While everything suggests that Wes Gibbins is alive and that Annalize Keating died after being shot in court, it is not. After a long fight and many reversals (thank you Nate and Laurel), Annalize was found not guilty of the murders for which she was accused (including that of her husband Sam Keating).
A heartbreaking double death
Happy and free unlike Connor who is arrested, she is not shot, as we wanted to make us believe. It was Frank who, after killing Governor Birkhead (Laura Innes), was shot in the governor's security. He is not the only one: Bonnie was also touched and dies in the arms of Annalize ... A tragic end but which could hardly have been different for these two characters who were not spoiled by life.
Wes still alive?
What about Annalise's funeral then? These actually take place years later and the lawyer had the time to live a beautiful and long life, despite the loss of Bonnie, Frank or even her mother. Eve, Connor and Oliver, who seem to have reconciled, or Laurel insisted on saying goodbye. It is not Wes that we see, but Christopher, who looks like two drops of water to his father ... He also perfectly closes the series by giving his first law lesson, writing on the table the title of it which is none other than "How to get away with murder".
Le final était bien, ils auraient juste pu accélérer le rythme sur la partie du procès et laisser plus de temps pour l’après #HTGAWMFinale

#HTGAWMFinale C’était un des meilleurs final que j’ai jamais vu. En 5 minutes je suis passée du cœur qui bat à la chamade, à la surprise ensuite au larmes puis au finir en rire hystérique. C’était magnifique.

La fin n'était pas décevante, c'est tout ce qu'on peut demander d'une série à laquelle on s'attache.
